Climavane, based at 45 Gloucester Road, Bristol BS7 8AD, is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through this website and by phone in connection with bookings and enquiries.

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and the other provisions in force in United Kingdom. Where this policy and the law diverge, the law takes precedence.

When you submit a request through our website, we collect the information you provide, typically your name, phone number and a comment describing the work needed. When you contact us by phone, we may note similar details to arrange a visit or callback.

We use this information to respond to enquiries, arrange and carry out booked visits, and issue invoices for completed work. This is necessary to perform the service you have requested or to take steps towards a contract at your request.

We retain enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to complete the work and meet our invoicing and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required by law.

Information is shared only with members of our own team and, where needed for a specific job, with subcontractors assisting on site. We do not sell or pass on personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting our office directly. Our website also uses analytics cookies as described in our cookie policy, which you can manage through the consent banner or your browser settings.
