Founding Story and Commitment to Honest Work

Climavane began after one too many conversations with homeowners who had been quoted one price and charged another, or left waiting for a contractor who never quite arrived. The air conditioning trade around Bristol had plenty of vans but not always the same engineer twice, and quotes that moved once the job was underway.

We built the business around the opposite approach: a proper site survey before any figure is given, parts sourced through established equipment manufacturers rather than unmarked substitutes, and a final check on every unit before the engineer packs up the van.

Pricing is written down before work starts, payment is taken by cash or bank transfer with a clear invoice, and the same engineer who surveyed your property is the one who finishes the job, backed by a 30-day workmanship guarantee.

Honesty in Every Quote

We price the job after seeing it, not before, and we stand by that figure once it is written down. If something changes on site, we tell you before doing any extra work.

Respect for Your Home

Dust sheets go down before tools come out, and we clean up after ourselves as a matter of course. Your home should look the way it did before we arrived, apart from the unit working.

Craft in Every Fit

Pipework is run neatly, cables are hidden where possible, and nothing is left loose or exposed. We take the same care on a small flat as we do on a large office fit.

Every unit we fit gets the same final check from me personally: pressure test, airflow reading and a clean finish, before the client sees the result.

How We Keep Standards Up

Every engineer we send out has been assessed on a real job before working unsupervised, and every installation or clean ends with a logged test and photographs before we leave. We use protective sheeting in every property, regardless of the size of the job.
